Yet for the hard of hearing, live music is often
visually observed, not fully experienced.
Inclusion means designing culture
so no one is left outside the moment.
What if sound could move beyond the ears?
Concept
When Sound Becomes Physical.
To bring orchestral music to the Deaf community,
We propose that the United Arab Emirates National Orchestra
partners with Woojer to create a specialized haptic suit.
The suit translates live orchestral sound into
physical sensations across the body allowing audiences to
feel the music through vibration, rhythm, and intensity.
This is not about hearing sound.
It’s about experiencing music through the senses.
